Debasmita Ray Das, born in Kolkata on August 29, 1984, is the eldest daughter of Retired Principal of a Govt aided college Mr. Apurba Ray and retired Headmistress of a Govt aided school Mrs. Mitali Ray. She has a younger brother too.
She did her schooling from Bidya Bharati Girls High School, a renowned English medium school of Kolkata. She earned both her graduation and post graduation degree in Rabindra Sangeet from Rabindra Bharati University. She also completed her Sangeet Visharad degree in Indian Classical Music from both Chandigarh and Allahabad University and in Rabindrasangeet from Chandigarh University. She had pursued painting for a long time also. She was also interested in acting dramas at childhood time.
Interested in artistic persuits always, she started writing stories in the very childhood. Till now she has written many short and long stories, and many heart touching poems and novels. She has also written some travel blogs.
She tells stories in such a way like it becomes lively in front of you.. attached emotionally with your sublime feelings thus enriching your heart. They help your soul to touch the sky and feel happy always making her writings immortal.
